Nigeria handball team preparation plan for All Africa Games

The Nigerian handball team is expected to tour neighbouring countries Ghana, Benin and Togo as part of preparations for the 2011 All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique next month.


The tour is to afford the players international exposure ahead of the multisport.
Forty-one (41) players for both the male and female team will make the trip to the West African tour.
Seven of the male-based players are based outside just as two from the female team.
The trip according to team officials is to put the players in a better position to face the challenges at the continental championship.
